Here, you'll find ‘Valli’ vineyard, the creation of pioneering Otago winemaker Grant Taylor (Grant's name is synonymous with Otago Pinot Noir). Grant founded Valli to create true representations of Otago's sub-regions with unflinching intensity and purity. Valli's Waitaki vineyard produces Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Chardonnay, and we're thrilled to arrange private vineyard tours and wine tastings for our guests.
Station Peak in The Waitaki Valley, not far from where Valli is planted, once had a common fenceline on the South Western boundary of Holme Station.
