What lodge facilities do you have?

Holme Station offers a library, a trophy room and games room with open fires, an office space with printing facilities, and extensive terraces and lawns for relaxation. Guests enjoy state-of-the-art entertainment with a 75-inch television, SKY digital, Apple TV, Netflix, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. 

Are food and drinks included?

Your stay includes drinks and canapés on arrival, a four-course dinner with matched wines, tea or coffee, and after-dinner drinks in the trophy room or library. Each day begins with a bespoke breakfast, or an indulgent chef's table experience. For multi-night stays, gourmet lunches are included, as well as curated morning and afternoon teas, creating a fully hosted experience from first welcome to final farewell. 

When is the best time of year to visit?

Holme Station is an exceptional year-round destination, with each season offering a unique experience. Summer and early autumn are appealing for fly fishing, wine touring and garden stays, while winter and spring bring snow sports, picturesque landscapes, and cosy evenings by the fire after days exploring the Mackenzie Region.

Holme Station Homestead welcomes private events and is renowned as one of the finest venues in Canterbury. Our experienced Event Team will consider every detail, ensuring your celebration, family renunion, wedding, or corporate retreat is a success. For groups, our Exclusive Stay option offers private use of Holme Station Homestead for up to sixteen guests.
