Predating the current homestead the Holme Station grounds were established by the Elworthy family, surrounding the original 1860’s home. Laid out in a natural English country estate style befitting Holme Station’s heritage and history, there are over 110 species of trees reflecting both English, Australian and New Zealand heritage. Beyond the homestead, the original roses, planted more than 100 years ago, continue to bloom, and in spring, over 5 acres of daffodils and bulb varieties fill the lower grounds. The gardens are available for weddings and photography on request, offering a peaceful and timeless setting — where history and nature come together in quiet harmony.
